The name Underdog was inspired by the pets who don’t always get the spotlight — the shy ones, the rescues, the anxious souls who just need a little extra love. We started Underdog Pet Care with a simple goal: to provide trustworthy, heart-centered pet care for families across the Metro Atlanta area.

Meet Ryan & Leah
The Hearts Behind Underdog Pet Care
Ryan’s lifelong love for animals began in a home full of pets. Today, he works at Jabula Dog Academy in Decatur, GA, where he’s trained to handle dogs of all breeds and temperaments — including reactive or anxious dogs. Since 2017, he’s been a reliable and trusted pet sitter known for his calm, caring energy.
When he’s not caring for pets, Ryan enjoys live music, comedy shows, video games, and shooting hoops.
Leah’s passion for animals started early, rescuing bugs from sidewalks and caring for injured wildlife. She spent three years as a Wildlife Handler at AWARE Wildlife Center, where she helped care for animals like a three-legged raccoon named Sweet Pea. That hands-on experience inspired her to study Biology and pursue her dream of helping animals thrive.
At Underdog, Leah manages the behind-the-scenes operations, scheduling, communication, and ensuring every detail runs smoothly.
